About Us

The Creative Hub is a friendly, flexible creative studio in Barnstaple, created to bring people together through making, sharing, and slowing down. We believe creativity isn’t just about learning a skill — it’s about connection, confidence, and wellbeing.

Our space is home to a variety of workshops, drop-ins, and social craft sessions led by professional artists and makers. From glass bead making and mindful crafts to relaxed “bring-your-own-project” sessions, there’s something here for everyone — whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced maker.

The Hub is run by Manda, maker and founder of Mangobeads, alongside a community of creatives including Creative Crafting Devon, where Tara hosts regular weekly classes. Together, we’ve created a welcoming, non-judgemental space where you can try something new, meet like-minded people, or simply enjoy a few peaceful hours doing something you love.

We offer bookable workshops, private group sessions, and casual drop-ins — and if the flag is up, you’re always welcome to pop in and say hello. Located on Pottington Road, Barnstaple, next to the football and rugby club car parks, The Creative Hub is a place to feel inspired, supported, and at home.
